Quoteably automatically syncs via iCloud when you're signed into the same Apple ID on all devices. Just make sure iCloud is enabled in your device settings.
How do I back up my quotes?
The app automatically backs up to iCloud Drive daily (keeping the last 7 backups). You can also manually export a backup anytime from the settings menu.
I accidentally deleted a quote. Can I recover it?
Yes! Immediately after deleting, shake your device to undo. You can also restore from an auto-backup via Settings > Browse Auto-saves.
Can I transfer my quotes to a new phone?
If you're signed into iCloud, your quotes will sync automatically. You can also export a backup from your old device and import it on your new one.
What's the difference between a quote and a conversation?
A quote is a single statement from one person. A conversation lets you capture back-and-forth dialogue between multiple speakers.
Quoteably stores your data locally on your device and in your personal iCloud account. We don't have access to it. Your quotes are never sent to external servers or shared with third parties. We don't collect any personal information or analytics.
